Title: Business Analyst
Risk Management Applications team works closely with functional risk management, Independence leadership, US leadership, and other operational/functional groups to understand and prioritize business process improvement opportunities to ensure proper controls are in place to mitigate risks that can potentially be managed through applications and systems.
Document business and functional requirements including UI mockup, user stories and use cases. Work closely with technical team to translate business requirements into functional requirements. Ownership of release management and traceability of proposed requirements ensuring critical business needs are met; through complete lifecycle from business requirements, development, quality assurance & UAT, while strategically prioritizing and validating requirements backlog are scheduled and implemented Coordinate and lead the preparation and execution of User Acceptance & Business Validation testing, ensuring deployment readiness to business users Author & deliver training, User Guides & FAQs to support Change Management Strategy and Adoption Plans
Responsibilities: Build and maintain strong relationships with Risk Management/Independence senior leaders & stakeholders to understand business objectives and facilitate strategic process redesign sessions Subject Matter Expert (SME) with a deep depth of understanding of a business process and/or product/application with a view into integration across product portfolios Develop business justification documents that focus on capturing the current state processes to ensure an optimized future state is achieved with innovative process and tools Document required artifacts in the project lifecycle from scope definition to product validation including post implementation change requests.
Skills: Data Analytics and Data Warehouse experience a plus Strong organizational, quantitative and analytical, writing and communication skills a must Ability to work with various levels of management Ability to work independently and as part of a team
