  • Overview

    This project is to assist with setting up new facilities in China 

    Will the candidate be required to work at an international location? YES

    List any international travel or work locations: Hefei, China

     

    Working Hours: 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday (this will make up the core hours, working hours may swing from 40-60/week depending on the project - OT is expected) 

    *At this time the project is expected to be at minimum 6 months and could go a full year. Travel schedule would be 8 weeks in country - 2 weeks home leave. It is recommended that workers follow that schedule but not required. 

    Summary: Encompasses construction, space utilization, scheduling of preventative maintenance, repair, and compliance with safety policies and regulations for buildings and grounds. Responsible for planning plant, office and production equipment layouts for economy of operation and maximum utilization of facilities and equipment. Reviews and estimates design costs including equipment, installation, labor, materials, preparation, and other related costs. Develops criteria and performance specifications for facilities and equipment required to meet unique operating requirements and building and safety codes. 

    Qualifications

    Requires complete understanding and application of standard engineering or scientific theories, concepts, principles, and techniques. General knowledge of other related disciplines. Provides technical solutions to a wide range of difficult problems. Solutions are imaginative, thorough, and practicable, and consistent with organization objectives. Works under minimal direction. Independently determines and develops approaches to solutions. Work is reviewed generally upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. Frequent inter organizational and/or external contacts. Represents the organization. Strong working relationships outside of immediate work group. 

     


    Education: BS Minimum Preferred - AAS with significant experience will also be considered. 
    Experience: 7+ Years 

    Manager Must Haves: 
    - Experience in Clean-room Management and set-up 
    - Pollution Abatement 
    - Water and Electrical systems management and maintenance.
