This BA will be supporting Payment. Reporting to the Team Manager, the High Value Payments (HVP) Analyst will support the Canada Core Banking Replacement Project (Project “NorthStar”). The HVP Analyst will work closely with other team members as well as other Business Tracks within the group and Canada throughout the project life cycle to ensure requirements are accurately tested and deliverables are met in a timely manner. REQUIREMENTS: * Supports HVP business lines for GPP(Global Payment Program), OVS(in-house core banking system), IntelliMatch(reconciliation system) and other payments related systems covering all facets of Operations including deal processing, payments, approvals, AML and reconciliations. *Creating/maintain future state workflows and corresponding procedures based on the requirements. *Test Planning and Coordination for HVP team. Ensure application meets business requirements. Create, execute and Track Test Plans, Cases, and Scripts. Plans and Executes for Migration tests and real Migration. *Monitor the progress of tests and migration and make adjustments and solutions as necessary to ensure the successful completion. *Provides secondary supports for other team functions such as CIF (Customer Onboarding, Common (static data) and IRIS (Confirm/Statement document system) *Creates and Conducts End User Training Materials *Provides production supports as well as proceeds projects in parallel to the Canada Core Banking Replacement Project *Provides supports to the Team Manager to ensure all related initiatives are maintained on schedule and completed according to plan. Communicate project issues, status and updates in a timely manner.
QUALIFICATIONS • Individual will have 5+ years of operation experience or business analysis related to payments processing for a financial institution, 8-10+ years’ experience overall as Operation Manager or a Business Analyst • Strong knowledge of SWIFT messages(MT103/MT202) including payments related to Customer Remittance and Corporate banking products such as FX and Loans. • Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle a plus • Detail oriented with the potential to work efficiently and independently with little supervision. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to include listening, verbal and written skills. • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under time pressure and handle multiple tasks/projects at the same time. • Must be a team player with a positive attitude. • Must be a goal-oriented even in challenging circumstances • Experience with Static Data Configurations for Banking Systems a plus • Experience in Customer Onboarding a plus • Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. • Proficiency in SQL, Business Objects, or database inquiry tools a plus
