This role will be responsible for supporting practices to keep Human Resources in compliance with enterprise programs such as Privacy and Records Management. This includes: 

  • Project manage and perform an analysis of HR Records Retention Schedules and how they are applied to business processes and systems in order to identify, plan and implement pragmatic and compliant practices
  • Document and support processes associated with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • Project manage privacy risk analyses, business process mappings and business process assessments
  • Support the development of inventories and evaluation of data protection controls
  • Collaborate with Privacy, Records and Information Security Officers as well as business owners to establish or maintain an inventory of business processes, systems and repositories processing or maintaining sensitive personal data
  • Train / educate HR associates on Privacy and Records practices
  • Coordinate and contribute to regular monitoring activities such as metrics and management reporting
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures / Processes and other risk oversight responsibilities
  • Monitor business activity to enable consistent application of corporate records policies and standards


  • Knowledge of Privacy (e.g., GDPR) and Information Governance (Records Management) laws or material; applied experience with associated regulations 
  • Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple work streams across organizations 
  • Seasoned technology generalist that understands how applications support business processes 
  • Analytical skills and problem-solving abilities 
  • Conscientious; detail oriented and fast learner that’s a self-starter who can work independently 
  • Proficiency with MS Office productivity tools 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 
  • Knowledge of operational risk and/or data protection principles 
  • Working knowledge of Human Resources business processes is a plus
