The Senior Supply Chain Planner will support supply planning activities for a portfolio of products following the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process, including tactical balancing of supply and demand. Additionally, the Sr. SC Planner will lead or participate on projects to drive improvements in the supply chain. 


• Works with Demand Planning and PLCM to understand overall demand including global launch & phase out strategies 
• Calculates and maintains safety stock levels and inventory offsets in ERP and planning systems 
• Generates Net Requirements to plants/external suppliers based on factors including demand, service level and inventory strategies 
• Reviews committed build plans from plants/external suppliers and works cross functionally to close all supply demand gaps 
• Tracks and manages inventory across distribution centers and affiliates to ensure ongoing supply demand alignment 
• Identifies and works cross functionally to address supply continuity risks, and escalates as necessary 
• Prepares inventory projection charts and regular status updates for products owned 
• Works with plant to generate backorder recovery projection, and communicates recovery plan to stakeholders 
• Supports inventory optimization strategies 
• Manages system parameters and flags to preserve constrained inventory for earmarked demand 
• Participates on project/product launch core teams to represent supply chain function


• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent field

• Graduate degree, APICS or ISM certification, and SAP/Oracle/Demantra experience preferred.

• 5 years of hands on experience in Supply Planning or Demand Planning

• Working knowledge of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) or Integrated Business Planning (IBP)

• Strong analytical skills and advanced Excel proficiency.

• Excellent written & oral communications and presentation skills.

• Strong leadership and project management skills.

• Experience in the medical device industry is a plus.
