Overview

Company is looking for a Financial / Business Analyst to support the areas of profitability analytics, cost allocations, and activity based costing. 

Responsibilities

o   Analyze ISA – Technology in scope Resource Centers (RC) to identify how costs should be pooled to meet LOBs’ requirements for insights into:

  • GL accounts that make up the costs of activities and cost objects
  • Cost Categories (Labor, variable, fixed, allocations in)
  • Cost Pools to allow for segregation of cost to allow for greater precision and accuracy assigning costs to activities and services

o   Work with ISA – Technology RC owners to define

  • Appropriate[1] services (Cost Objects) delivered by their functions in support  of delivering service and products by the  LOBs
  • Appropriate3 interim cost objects in order to better drive costs to final cost objects
  • Drivers of costs from Resource Center Pools to services or interim cost objects
  • Drivers of costs from interim cost objects to Services (as required)
  • Drivers of costs from Services to Customers/Product Accounts and LOB
  • Weightings to be applied to drivers and or services to allow for identification of varying level of efforts to support LOBs, services or Customer/Product account

o   Develop preliminary model results for validation by the RC owners and LOB customers

o   Update preliminary model results based on RC owner / LOB feedback (as required)

o   Document:

  • Model components
  • Model configuration

Qualifications

Qualifications: 
• Bachelor's degree required (Accounting, Finance or Business related major) 
• 2+ years of related experience in a Banking environment 
• Cost Allocation experience is strongly preferred 
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) 
• Solid analytical and organization skills 
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment 
• Working Knowledge of Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills
