Overview

Looking for 2 employee benefits or executive compensation  or one of those.
Develop content for practice notes , tax issues 
except someone up to 40 per week- min 15 -30 week 
 
Client is looking for a seasoned Employee Benefits and Executive Compensation attorney to help develop content for attorneys. The attorney will edit and create “how-to” type practical guidance, forms, and legal analyses for a wide range of Employee Benefits and/or Executive Compensation topics.

Responsibilities

• Draft and/or edit annotated Employee Benefits/Executive Compensation form documents and checklists 

• Write and/or edit practical guidance articles on Employee Benefits/Executive Compensation topics

Qualifications

Qualifications: 
• Law degree from an accredited law school 
• At least 5 years of experience as an Employee Benefits and/or Executive Compensation attorney 
• For attorneys specializing in Employee Benefits, substantive experience in some or all of the following: drafting and reviewing a wide variety of Employee Benefits plans, agreements, provisions, and policies; and advising clients regarding a wide variety of Employee Benefits topics including, among others, all aspects of ERISA, defined benefit retirement plans, defined contribution retirement plans, the Affordable Care Act, consumer driven health plans, cafeteria plans and fringe benefits, HIPAA, COBRA, and employee benefits issues in mergers and acquisitions 
 For attorneys specializing in Executive Compensation, substantive experience in some or all of the following: drafting executive employment and bonus agreements, equity and cash incentive compensation plans and agreements, executive separation agreements and severance plans, and nonqualified deferred compensation arrangements and trusts; and handling issues involving IRC Section 280G, IRC Section 162(m), and IRC Section 409A 
• Ability to think critically and annotate agreements and policies (or review and revise such annotations as necessary) 
• Excellent editing, legal research, analysis, and writing skills 
• Effective written communication skills 
• Ability to complete assigned projects by prescribed deadlines 
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to work in a detail-oriented environment 
• Experience in presenting CLEs and drafting client alerts is a plus 
• Comfortable working in Microsoft Word and Excel, and conducting online legal research
