Overview

This position is to support a project to replace transaction monitoring solution for a foreign correspondent bank. This position is part of the team providing subject matter expertise on financial crimes compliance systems supporting transaction monitoring and other analytic business functions.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Director of Analytics and Informatics (AI) department of Financial Crime Risk Management (FCRM), the Analyst - Advanced Analytics will be responsible for projects and initiatives of the Modeling and Data Mining team. The Modeling and Data Mining team will apply a wide array of advanced analytic techniques to address a range of business issues. 
  • Work closely with the project team to transform business requirements into analysis 
  • Extract data from a variety of sources to support data analysis related to transaction monitoring scenario development 
  • Code scenario simulations in SAS and provide results and summary statistics for scenario tuning
  • Ability to analyze SAS code and modify code to adapt to changes 
  • Transform analysis into written requirements for IT to execute in production environment 
  • Ensure proper testing/ QA processes are established and followed to enable high data integrity and reliable rule generation results. 
  • Provide support in documentation to comply with the Bank Model Governance Policies on Change Management, Model Performance and Operational Controls. 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years SAS programming experience (preferably in the financial services industry.) 
  • Experience with Correspondent Banking scenario/coding is preferred.
