Under the direction of the National Director of Sales, the Regional Sales Consultant is responsible for promoting the Automated Unmanned Ground Vehiclein their respective territory. This position shall conduct sales prospecting activities and assist in the product demonstration efforts.  The Sales Consultant is responsible for developing qualified sales leads by conducting research, contacting prospects, arranging meetings and appointments, and presenting budgetary proposals.




  • Identify and contact prospective end-users within defined ‘target’ markets for the purpose of conducting a capabilities presentation/demonstration of the client solution.
  • Schedule onsite demonstrations including setup and operation of the demonstration system.
  • Achieve sales quota expectations and any assigned MBO’s. MBOs shall include developing a customer prospect list, cold calls, appointments for demos, proposals generated.
  • Provide accurate account status updates and forecast of short-term sales and long term opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with assigned dealers,  branches and major accounts.
  • Provide effective communication of technology solutions, programs and promotions to end users and dealers.
  • Manage to expense expectations and budgets.
  • Support local dealer and Branch customer events with the  system




  • Reports directly to the National Sales Director.
  • Coordinates efforts with Robotics Pro Services and Service teams to achieve program goals by providing high level product demonstrations and customer trial deployments
  • Establishes working relationship with dealer personnel resulting in credibility, creativity, good work ethic, and a positive image.
  • Works closely with other Regional Sales Engineers to constantly share success stories, review challenges, and develop best practices to be successful.
  • Communicates weekly with Sales & Service team to provide activity status updates and coordinate future activities.




  • Business or Technical 4 year Degree and/or related experience. Must be comfortable with technical concepts and operation of software demos
  • Sales prospecting with end user accounts including primary research, cold calling and onsite meetings/demos. Ability to used Linked In.
  • Entry level to 3 years experience in a selling role with a product or service (part time and/or internship experience included)
  • Ability to prepare for and deliver client specific presentations.
  • Ability to be part of the demonstration team and assist in driving van, set up demonstration products, and explaining system functions and capabilities.
  • Utilize  CRM program to diligently input data to allow accurate reporting of Pipeline/Opportunity funnel and sales forecast.
  • Availability for 50-60% travel, primarily within the assigned region.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent working knowledge of MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc) required.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization.
