Summary: Encompasses the use of integrated systems for computer-aided design used for the systematic representation and dimensional specification of mechanical and architectural structures. Prepares drawings or schematics for mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems, equipment and structures. Utilizes CAD digitizing techniques and skills. Digitizes and edits integrated circuit drawings consisting of components and/or assemblies. Makes engineering computations and prepares and revises specifications.
Requirements: Sound knowledge of job and a substantial acquaintance with the general aspects of the job. Intermediate level technical understanding. Implements standard procedures and proposes intermediate level modifications to improve workflow. Still generally obtains input to solve more complex problems. Works under general site supervision. Able to gather information independently using established and defined procedures. Able to train new employees to established procedures. Takes initiative in the area of continuous improvement. Uses some discretion. Contacts are typically within organization. May occasionally have contacts with others outside of the organization to seek clarity or ask for interpretation.
Education: AAS Desired
Experience: 3+ Years
Candidate must have industry experience utilizing SolidWorks, and AutoCad.
Position will cover multiple disciplines, and work areas.
Review asset performance for previous day(s)
Evaluate equipment for necessary repairs
Work with skilled tradesmen, engineers, and operators to guide repairs
Monitor line performance
Capture continuous improvement ideas, and implement as possible
Take in design needs for the Finishing Department
Work witrh supervior to prioritize needs
Create designs, and drawings as needed
Hold Design reviews
Follow plant drafting standards
